What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Dining Host/Hostess position at Vic & Ola's?
Vic & Ola's is an Italian restaurant located right in DC Ranch Marketplace. Open Daily from 11am-9pm Sunday through Thursday, and 11am-10pm Friday and Saturday.
We're looking for friendly, experienced hosts and hostesses who want to be an integral part of providing exceptional dining experience by:
- Greeting guests at the door and making everyone feel welcome
- Identifying our regulars and VIPs, knowing their preferences and accommodating their needs
- Taking and managing reservations and walk-in guests on OpenTable (if you have experience with this software, that’s a plus)
- Seating guests with their preferences and the flow of the restaurant in mind
- Helping manage the dining room by updating where guests are in their dining experience
- Thanking guests when they leave and inviting them back.
- Wiling to learn the our menu items for possible to-go orders, knowledge on Aloha system a plus.
You hold the key to our guests’ experience as well as the restaurant. If you're a highly motivated people person who excels in a fast-paced, high energy environment and have previous host or hostess experience, we want to meet you!!
Full-time or Part-time is available, willing to work with school schedules.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
