Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Assist with banquet and catering events as needed, ensuring timely service and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist with ordering as necessary.
- Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in the food industry or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess valid food handling certification or be willing to obtain one.
- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help guests enjoy their experience.
