Security Bouncer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Bouncer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at our venue. This role requires strong conflict management skills, the ability to assess situations quickly, and a commitment to upholding venue policies while ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

Duties

• Monitor the entrance and exit of the venue to ensure only authorized individuals gain access.
• Conduct thorough checks of bags and personal items as needed.
• Enforce venue rules and regulations, addressing any violations promptly and professionally.
• Manage conflicts and de-escalate potentially volatile situations with tact and authority.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to maintain safety standards.
• Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities within the venue.
• Provide first aid or CPR assistance in emergency situations until professional help arrives.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the venue to deter unruly behavior and promote a safe atmosphere.

Skills

• Experience in law enforcement or security preferred but not required.
• Strong conflict management abilities with a focus on de-escalation techniques.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance practices.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or misconduct within the venue.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and effectively.
