Job Summary

As a Back of House Team Member at Vicious Biscuit, you play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our kitchen and contributing to the overall dining experience for our customers. You will be responsible for various tasks related to food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. -

Responsibilities

· BOH team members tasks include sauté, fry station, biscuit build, point, prep, dishwasher, and biscuit maker.

· Execute food preparation tasks following established recipes and guidelines.

· Ensure accurate portion control, maintain consistency in food quality, mitigate waste.

· Operate cooking equipment with precision and attention to detail.

· Prepare and assemble orders according to Vicious Biscuit's standards and presentation guidelines.

· Monitor food temperatures and ensure that all food is cooked to perfection.

· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.

· Properly store and label food items to minimize waste and ensure freshness.

· Assist in inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying the management team of any shortages.

· Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.

· Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of kitchen waste.

· Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the management team.

· Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

· Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to coordinate order timings and maintain a seamless flow of service.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
