Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a strong background in various maintenance disciplines, including high voltage systems, HVAC, and industrial electrical work. The Lead Maintenance will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and enhancing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Key duties of the Maintenance Lead include coordinating daily maintenance operations, leading and training team members, and developing preventive maintenance schedules. They also to directly troubleshoot and repair specific areas such as equipment repairs, safety compliance, and inventory management. Through effective leadership and strategic planning, the Maintenance Lead ensures that the property is being operated efficiently keeping unit repairs and upkeep to the property at top priority.
Requirements
- Highly skilled in HVAC, plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Understanding of compliance in pools and fire codes for multifamily buildings.
- Sheetrock, drywall, painting, texturing and ability to turn units in the required time limits.
- Oversee and delegate activities to maintenance members efficiently and in a manner to ensure repairs are done timely without risk of code violations or hazards.
- Oversee a preventative maintenance schedule and coordinate the work accordingly to ensure all mechanical systems are operating and being maintained.
- Supervise inventory to ensure your team has the supplies they require to complete tasks.
- Submit inventory and property needs on the required date.
- Review team members skills and train in areas that are needed.
- Ability to read, write and communicate with all staff including managers to understand goals, deadlines and explain issues that may arise.
- Supervising of vendors, outside maintenance and onsite maintenance to ensure they are aware of goals and deadlines and are working efficiently.

The right person for this role will understand the importance of leadership and being a supervisor who has the ability to work side by side with all other maintenance members. As lead maintenance a requirement would be to oversee other properties in the area in the event they need assistance or are having issues completing repairs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
