Job Summary
Join a well-established private pediatric practice in the northern suburbs of Atlanta, offering an excellent work-life balance. This practice, with 3 physicians and over 20 years of service to the community, is seeking another pediatrician. The position is part-time, requiring 2-3 days a week with no weekends or hospital calls. Applicants must have a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia, a current DEA registration, and mandatory BLS certification. Effective communication skills with patients, families, and team members, as well as excellent organizational and listening skills, are essential. Experience with EMR, particularly eClinical Works, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their health and development.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Administer medications and manage treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR for effective data management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a clinic setting to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide guidance on preventive healthcare practices and wellness strategies for children.
- Educate families on health issues, treatment options, and medication administration.
Qualifications
- Medical degree with a specialization in Pediatrics.
- Board certification in Pediatrics is preferred.
- Proficient in data management systems, electronic health record systems.
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in pediatric medicine.
