As an Automotive Painter at Vic's Custom Paint and Body, you will play a key role in restoring, enhancing, and customizing vehicles to meet our high standards. From prepping surfaces and mixing colors to applying flawless finishes, you will be responsible for bringing our customers' visions to life. Your work will not only highlight your expertise in automotive paint but also ensure that every car that leaves our shop is a masterpiece.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Inspect finished paint jobs for quality, ensuring that the paint is applied evenly, without defects, and matches customer specifications.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with other departments (body repair, detailing, etc.) to ensure smooth workflows and timely completion of projects.
- Maintaining Equipment: Ensure that painting tools, booths, and equipment are well-maintained and in proper working condition to prevent delays or safety issues.
- Efficient Workflow Management: Ensure that all painting jobs are completed on time while maintaining a high standard of work, balancing speed with quality.
Skills
- Mix paints to ensure the correct color and finish.
- Apply high-quality automotive paint to vehicles, ensuring a flawless and smooth finish.
- Inspect vehicles for imperfections and address them before applying the final coat.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay updated with the latest painting techniques and technology to provide exceptional results.
- Wet Sand and Buff

- Proven experience in automotive painting, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paints, finishes, and application methods.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
