Description
Job Summary : The Machine Operator (Fabrication Tech 1) will be responsible for having trained in all activities pertaining to the shop floor including skill sets in Cut, Groove, Hole cut, Assembly, catalog and shop floor platform knowledge (Mendix) by a certified trainer. The Tech 1 will also work closely with the lead enforcing all policies and procedures. Duties may vary due to business needs.
Specific duties and responsibilities :
Daily
- Responsible for enforcing a safe work environment and ensuring incidents, near misses, and all other safety related matters are reported properly to lead / Mgmt.
- Responsible for their Attendance.
- Perform shop floor day to day operations.
- Ensure quality per Victaulic's standards is met
- Responsible for following with current project schedule and material management.
- Required to perform all operations associated with fab cell proficiently.
- Complete all daily checklists and TPM's
- Certified on all equipment.
- Ensure all 5S duties are completed.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Other duties assigned by Lead / Mgmt.
