These products are used in commercial, infrastructure and industrial applications to protect people and property.
Expectations:
The General Laborer will support daily operations in the fabrication shop, assisting with material handling, shop maintenance, and general tasks while operating machinery such as rollers and cutting machines. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Training will be provided for machine operation as needed. Please note that this is a temporary position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The use of appropriate safety equipment, as described below, is a mandatory condition of employment and not a matter of choice. Victaulic will provide the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. The safety equipment that must be worn while performing job responsibilities includes:
Schedule: Full Time: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm and occasionally Fridays
6 Month Position
Pay:$18 per hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in material handling, loading/unloading raw materials using overhead cranes or lifting equipment.
- Support machine operators by preparing materials, staging workpieces, and maintaining workflow.
- Operate machinery, such as rollers and CNC plasma/oxy-fuel cutting machines, as directed.
- Perform general shop duties, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining work areas.
- Conduct basic inspections of parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Assist in routine equipment maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow safety guidelines and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or shop managers.

- Hearing protection
- Safety Shoes (Met-Guard Type)
- Tinted Face shield (as required)
- Safety glasses
- Flame Retardant clothing, such as a leather apron
- Welding Gloves
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to safely operate hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Able to read blueprints is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
