Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Management: Ensure supervisors are informed about schedules and project releases.
- Meeting Participation: Attend all facility meetings and ensure information flow to Mendix and supervisors.
- Coordination: Work with VDC, Fab Material Coordinator, Sales, CC, and branches on upcoming projects and material lead times.
- Project Scheduling: Schedule projects and ensure they meet drawing specifications within Mendix.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Production Supervisors, training, and engineering on special projects.
- Issue Resolution: Address project issues within Mendix and work with relevant parties to resolve them.
- Fabrication Correspondence: Manage all fabrication correspondence and updates.
- Branch Coordination: Release orders per schedule and manage BPCS-related items.
- Performance Management: Own On Time Performance for SRS and Catalog.
- Data Management: Work with MFG Admin on runtimes and data entry.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Preferred experience in a manufacturing/steel fabrication environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows software and familiarity with SWI/SOP processes.
- Math Skills: Good understanding of shop math and ability to use measuring tools.
- Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Independence: Ability to work independently, efficiently, and be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
