JOB SUMMARY
The Program Supervisor is directly responsible to the Executive Director for the day-to-day operations of the program services. The Program Supervisor manages the functioning of service delivery teams, which provide a wide array of community-based youth and family support services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitors and controls the delivery of assigned program requirements in accordance with Agency standards and acceptable professional practices.
- Monitors and ensures that documentation and case records are developed and maintained in accordance with Agency and program standards.
- Provides supervision and performance management of program staff, if applicable.
- In partnership with the Executive Director, develops, maintains, and assures implementation of on-the-job training and orientation of new staff.
- Monitors and controls the referral and intake process, maintaining high quality service delivery and good working relations within the community being served.
- Implements and maintains quality assurance systems and reporting programs related to clinical services and participates on Quality Improvement teams as assigned.
- Provides direct services as needed to ensure program and service delivery continuity.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with community agencies and stakeholders such as Social Services, Juvenile probations, Mental Health, and education.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Completion of a clinical program with a Masters’ or Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field of behavioral or medical science from an accredited educational institution. MSW Preferred.
- Must have an active registration or license with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. (ACSW, APCC, AMFT, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a valid California driver's license, personal automobile insurance and clean driving record.
- Must be physically and mentally fit. Must be willing to complete a Tuberculosis (TB) and drug screening test.
- Must be willing to complete a personal background investigation conducted by the State of California.
