We have an immediate opening for Automation Technician. The Automation Technician works directly with the Engineering & Production Department to support our manufacturing facility. They should have the ability to program, troubleshoot errors, and repair malfunctions with welding robots, CNC water jet, PLC controlled equipment, CNC routers, CNC mills and machining centers, and other CNC machines. The Automation Technician must possess the ability to ensure the automated systems and equipment are serviced, programmed, adjusted, calibrated, and maintained. Must have the ability to design, fabricate, install, test, modify, and troubleshoot electronic and control systems.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred
- At least 3-5 years experience working with automation equipment and programmable controllers or
- In lieu of 3-5 years experience will consider Electronics Degree/Certification or Military Electronics/Electrical Technician Training
- Knowledgeable and experienced with industrial control hardware and communication systems (PLC’s)
- Must be able to apply mathematical concepts such as, fundamentals of fractions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
- General Maintenance Experience a plus
