JOB TITLE : BioMed Equipment Tech
REPORTS TO : Director, Facilities Management
POSITION SUMMARY : Performs maintenance and repairs on life support and general medical equipment. Controls maintenance costs. Ensures patient and staff safety. Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Associates degree preferred. One year of biomedical equipment tech experience required. 3 years of hospital biomedical equipment tech experience preferred. Possess knowledge and able to perform equipment maintenance and repairs on medical equipment.
