POSITION: Substitute Instructional Assistant Special Education - Mod/Sev/EBDSITE: VariousDAYS: 199HOURS: By SiteSALARY: Range 31 ($28.01)THIS IS AN ON-CALL AS NEEDED POSITION. THERE ARE NO GUARENTEED HOURS.FILING DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2025 @ 4:00 P.M. OR UNTIL 100 APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVEDNO HEALTH & WELLNESS BENEFITS WITH THIS POSITIONBASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the school Principal, or designee, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students with disabilities; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of individual education plans; provide routine clerical support. Includes the support of and care to individuals or groups of students placed in special education programs because of specific learning disabilities, severe emotional and behavior problems, orthopedic handicaps and/or other disabilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency.Incumbents must meet requirements specified under the Every Student Succeeds Act. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of graduation from high school and one year of experience working with children with disabilities in an organized setting. HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, VALID FIRST AID CERTIFICATION AND CPR CERTIFICATION MUST BE ATTACHED TO APPLICATIONFailure to include required documents will result in disqualification and cannot be submitted after the application has been submitted.
