The Licensed Outpatient Therapist is expected to work about 10 hours a week with a per diem rate of $70 / hr.
JOB SUMMARY
The Licensed Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing quality mental health services to qualifying children, adolescents and young adults. Licensed Outpatient Therapists shall provide individual and / or family sessions as determined by the member receiving the services and the Therapist. In addition, the Therapist is responsible for completing all documentation and written reports required by the Agency and Health Insurance Provider.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides in-clinic and field-based individual and family treatment to children, adolescents and young adults with a range of psychological, emotional and behavioral problems, on an as needed basis.
- Provides comprehensive mental health assessments to assigned members to determine the need for mental health services. Develops treatment plans and goals based on assessed areas of needs and strengths identified in the assessment. Monitors and evaluates client’s progress on identified goals in the treatment plan.
- Completes all required clinical documentation in an electronic health record system within required timelines.
- Effectively works with program leadership and team members to provides support services in accordance to program structure with assigned members.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
