As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will lead, plan, and oversee the operations of our Rehab Department, ensuring our residents receive exceptional care. This position is open to all disciplines, including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct, organize, and evaluate rehabilitation services in alignment with the facility’s goals.
- Stay informed of federal, state regulations, and professional standards, recommending necessary policy updates.
- Collaborate with residents and families, involving them in planning and tailoring rehab programs.
- Oversee daily staffing and resource allocation in coordination with rehabilitation therapists and administration.
- Maintain productive relationships with medical professionals, external healthcare organizations, and the community.
- Analyze and address departmental challenges, providing solutions and updates to the Administrator.
- Ensure compliance with rehabilitation standards during government inspections.
- Oversee the documentation of rehabilitation progress, ensuring notes are detailed and informative.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize rehab program outcomes.
