Secondary Campus Instructional Coach
Contract Days: 197 Days
Pay Grade: Teacher Pay Scale
Primary Purpose: Support the campus's implementation of highly effective strategies designed to increase student achievement. Provide academic coaching and mentoring designed to retain highly qualified classroom teachers.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree
Master's Degree preferred experience may replace advanced degree
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Thorough knowledge of curriculum and instructional methodologies T
horough knowledge of Texas curriculum standards
Knowledge and understanding of Adult learning styles and methods
Excellent organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
5 years of effective teaching in appropriate disciplines
Experience in facilitating Professional Development preferred
