What are the responsibilities and job description for the AMI Technician position at Victoria Electric Cooperative?
The AMI Technician provides field support of the Cooperative’s Automated meter infrastructure system. He or she will train under direct supervision for the following: installs, removals, repairs, programming and testing of AMI meters. Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, computer networking and command line interface is preferred. HS Diploma or GED required. Must posses a valid Texas Drive’s License and be insurable with Cooperative’s insurance carrier. Must hold a Class ‘A’ Interstate CDL within six months from hire.
