We’re seeking a passionate Social Service Assistant (Temp Position) to join our team! Our 120-bed facility is dedicated to providing excellent rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in a supportive and nurturing environment. Pay: Up to $22 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
Duration: 4–5 months commitment required

What You’ll Do
- Assist in providing social services support for residents, ensuring their emotional, psychological, and social needs are met
- Foster positive relationships with residents and their families, providing counseling and advocacy as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop care plans for residents
- Help organize and coordinate community outings, activities, and social engagement opportunities
- Ensure residents have access to resources, including financial assistance, advocacy, and other social services
- Document and monitor resident progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary
- Provide compassionate support to residents and their families during difficult transitions
What You’ll Bring
- Willingness to commit to a 4–5 month temporary role (Experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus)
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A heart for geriatrics and a passion for making a positive impact
- Ability to work with diverse populations and collaborate effectively with a team
- Certification in Social Services or related field (preferred but not required)
