What are the responsibilities and job description for the Large Animal Veterinary Assistant position at Victoria Veterinary Clinic?
Victoria Veterinary Clinic is seeking for a qualified, highly motivated individual to assume the role of a Full or Part-Time Large Animal Assistant.
Role requirement would include but not limited to:
· Equine & Livestock experience
· Cleaning stalls
· Client communication
· Feeding livestock
· Physical Activity, including being able to lift over 50 pounds
· Equine & Livestock animal handling & restraint
· Assist technicians with day-to-day operations
· Working environment include outdoor responsibilities
· Adaptable/flexible schedule including weekends
· Thrives in a high-pressure, fast pace environment
· Willingness to learn & work with others
· Current driver’s license and clean driving record is required
· Good honest work ethics
