*Overview*
Victory Centre of Bartlett is a Supportive Living Facility for seniors 65 . We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our community, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Answer telephones in a friendly, professional and timely manner. Transfer calls to appropriate staff member.
2. Meet and greet clients, vendors, family and visitors.
3. Maintain a sign in/sign out log at the front desk for all residents leaving and/or returning to the community, and the visitor log for all guests.
4. Basic computer skills
5. Create and modify documents as requested by management using Microsoft Office.
6. Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
7. Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
8. Record maintenance requests from residents and file work order forms.
9. Research, price, and purchase office furniture and supplies.
10. Maintain and distribute weekly menus/activity calendars.
11. Timely and appropriately distribute mail.
12. Support staff in assigned project-based work.
13. Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of team member and resident information.
14. Must demonstrate empathy and compassion to connect with customers
15. Other duties as assigned.
16. Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide office orientation for new employees.
2. Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in in-service, educational seminars, staff meetings and other learning experiences.
3. Must be knowledgeable about the community where you work and the surrounding area.
WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, bend, talk and hear.
The team member is required to walk and balance.
The team member will occasionally be required to climb stairs.
The team member is required to use hand and finger to touch, handle and feel, and is required to reach with hands and arms.
The team member must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds. Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment conditions described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
