Lot Manager

Job Title: Lot Technician
Location: Victory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Kansas City
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience and acumen)
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Five 8-hour days, including Saturdays (required)

Job Summary:
Victory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Kansas City is seeking a dedicated and reliable Lot Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory while supporting the dealership's daily operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle lot, including arranging vehicles neatly and ensuring they are parked in designated areas.
• Perform routine checks on vehicle inventory, including tire pressure, fuel levels, and overall condition.
• Assist in moving vehicles between locations as needed.
• Support the service department by retrieving and delivering vehicles for customers and technicians.
• Ensure all new and used vehicles are clean and presentable for customers, including exterior washes and interior detailing as necessary.
• Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as topping off fluids and battery checks.
• Monitor lot security by ensuring all vehicles are locked and properly secured.
• Assist sales staff by locating vehicles and ensuring they are showroom-ready.
• Keep the dealership premises clean and orderly, including clearing debris and maintaining signage.
• Checking in new car inventory from transport.
• Assisting the photo team when they fall behind to ensure all in stock vehicles have photos on the website.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be prepared to work the lot in the cold months.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus but not required.
