What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Internship (June - August) position at Victory Church?
Victory interns receive a full intensive experience through a combination of hands-on learning, one-on-one mentorship from staff and leaders, and large group teachings. Each intern gains practical ministry experience through serving each weekend and receiving coaching and development during the week.
The internship will be composed of immersion to all aspects of ministry. Each intern will serve to develop their skills in their area of gifting. They will be evaluated by their Direct Report at the end of the 12 weeks and provide feedback about their experience as well.
Each intern must go through Growth Track and take the Leading at Victory Small Group Curriculum.
The Ideal Applicant:
- A Victory intern should be a Follower of Jesus with strong character (humble, servant-hearted and teachable)
- Possess a leadership gift
- Demonstrates a calling from God on their lives
- Regularly practices the public habits of attending and serving at weekend gatherings and connecting in a small group
- Regularly practices personal habits of Bible study and giving
- Is willing and able to commit to 20 hours per week for 12 weeks to Victory Church
