- Provide peer support and coaching to individuals in need, focusing on mental health and addiction recovery.
- Utilize social work and counseling skills to assist individuals in setting and achieving their goals.
- Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized recovery plans.
- Offer guidance and resources for accessing community services and support networks.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive behavior change.
- Assist individuals in crisis management situations, providing immediate support and connecting them with appropriate resources.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for individuals.
```Experience```
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as social work, psychology, or counseling is preferred.
- Previous experience in peer support or coaching is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of mental health counseling principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with addiction counseling and recovery programs.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health systems and community resources.
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent listening skills and empathy towards others.
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques.
