WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

They will also meet the following qualifications and possess these preferred skills:

Master’s Degree in Education

Five (5) years teaching experience with a proven track record of raising student achievement scores

Proven success in turning best practices into outstanding academic results

Competency in using technology in the classroom setting

Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis

Strong desire to work within an innovative, urban educational program
-
Ability to coach and develop adults to achieve specific, measurable outcomes; has deep understanding of the content area they will support, including instructional methods and best practices

History of achieving measurable, ambitious goals

Experience analyzing, drawing conclusions, and taking action based on student outcomes data

Experience managing competing priorities in pursuit of a larger vision

A growth mindset about themselves and others; is eager to receive coaching and implement feedback

Ability to analyze data to target staff and student interventions and inform decision making

Data management tools, organizational tools, and computer skills (Google Suite: Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Forms, Etc.)

Ability and willingness to work collaboratively; maintaining cooperative and effective working relationships.

Use feedback from the Principal and Chief Readiness Officer to update the Individual Professional Development Plan.
