WHAT WE ARE SEEKING
The best candidates for this position will embody the values and beliefs at the heart of the VCP mission and vision. They will also meet the following qualifications:
Required:
Associate's Degree
Bilingual (fluent in Spanish) is a must
1-3 years of experience in an administrative role responsible for customer service engagement and translation support
Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
Strong desire to work within an innovative, urban educational program
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, business marketing, or similar field
- Other language proficiency outside of Spanish
- Experience managing social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok in a professional setting or on behalf of a company
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL ACCOMPLISH
The Communications and Translation Coordinator will perform regular, daily customer-service-oriented duties related to school network student, family, and guest engagement. They will provide a communications and translation services that will benefit and strengthen the relationship between the VCP staff and the student community.
The following are responsibilities that will be carried out on a regular, daily basis:
- Create, share, and translate communications on behalf of VCP
- Utilize social media to engage the VCP community and provide up to date information to parents/guardians, students, and the community
- Collaborate with VCP engagement staff to create the most effective and concise communication campaigns
- Provide administrative and customer support
