WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:
A bachelor’s degree with a relevant focus (master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Licensed Teacher
Ability to support K-12
Previous exposure/experience with the following:
Compliance knowledge regarding Special Education (SPED, including high ability) and/or Multi-Language Learners (MLL sometimes called ESL or ELL) laws
Experience coaching/leading adults in a professional setting
Department head or teacher leader experience (preferred)
Strong working knowledge of adult learning theory (or willingness to learn)

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL ACCOMPLISH:
Advise and oversee compliance for SPED and MLL programs
Coach and develop SPED and MLL teachers
Partner with principals to support and develop general education teachers to meet the needs of all students
Model VCP’s core values to build a positive staff and student culture across the organization
