What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Field Services position at Victory Energy Operations, LLC?
OVERALL, JOB PURPOSE:
Manage Field Services, and Victory Energy’s Industrial Boiler Rental Fleet business.
SUMMARY:
Manage customer field service projects related to the installation and commissioning of new boilers, rental boilers, and related equipment. Oversee training and pre-delivery testing of boilers and related equipment in the test bay.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the field activities as it relates to warranty repair, installation of new field equipment, and installation of the new field piping projects.
2. Management activities would include, but not limited TIES:
to: scheduling, manning the projects, coordination with the project managers on their scheduling and scope requirements, approving and turning into H.R. the worked hours for payroll purposes, submitting invoices to accounting for work performed in the field and determining what is billable and what is warranty.
3. Complete understanding of departmental operating procedures as well as job task procedures.
4. Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within job scope.
4. Manage the field activities as it relates to warranty repair, installation of new field equipment, and installation of the new field piping projects.
5. Work with project managers and service technicians in scheduling any and all warranty issues.
6. Assist in start-up planning activities and integration into the workplace by ensuring effective coordination between all appropriate staff members.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
1. Five (5) Years of experience in field service installation and commissioning of boiler and related equipment.
2. Must have extensive Controls Background and Project Management experience.
3. Strong Management and Field Service Customer experience
4. Knowledge of ASME code in the following welding process (FCAW, GMAW, GTAW) a plus.
5. Complete knowledge of blueprint interpretation.
6. Able to attend training courses as assigned.
7. Mathematically inclined.
8. Occasional travel up to 20% at times.
