Duties
- Provide one-on-one support to clients, sharing personal experiences to inspire hope and motivation.
- Assist clients in setting and achieving personal goals related to recovery and wellness.
- Facilitate group discussions and workshops focused on coping strategies, life skills, and recovery education.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to support clients in high-stress situations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies.
- Advocate for clients within various systems, including healthcare, social services, and community resources.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
- Proficiency in addiction counseling techniques and behavioral health practices.
