Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, particularly within the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order entry and cash handling, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or modifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
• Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences, utilizing sales techniques to enhance guest experience.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in training new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of menu items and service standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the culinary or food industry is preferred, especially in a nightclub or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Proficient in cash handling with basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order management.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage with guests effectively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the business needs.
• Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple tables while maintaining high service standards.

Pay: $18.08 - $19.95 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
