Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to provide seamless service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Experience in food preparation is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary.
