Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves providing high-quality lawn care services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy growth.
- Execute landscape maintenance duties such as planting, trimming, and pruning trees and shrubs.
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
- Assist in hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs and provide expert advice on lawn care practices.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment effectively.
- Experience in lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
- Ability to perform hardscape installations with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Proficiency in tree trimming techniques for optimal plant health.
- Capability to manage snow plowing operations during winter seasons.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have own transportation
Victory Lawn & Landscaping
Looking for landscaping technician experienced in (mowing,trimming, planting, etc.); required skills (physical stamina, attention to detail) and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Experience with privacy fencing and landscaping equipment (lawnmower, weed whackers, blower and own transportation) is a plus.
