Local Dispater

Requirements:

• Experience dispatching of drivers (OTR and local)
• Familiar with import / export shipments
• Answering phone calls from customers and other staff members
• Schedule and dispatch crews daily
• Familiar with dispatching variety of truck size and trailer for job requirement
• Ability to communicate with drivers, moving, crews, staff and customer about daily task.
• Ability to follow instructions and chain of command
• Available to work MF and some Saturdays when needed
• ability to multitask
• customer services experience
• able to work in a fast pace environment
• experience with Microsoft office
• ability to work with other employees
• Some experience with PDF, Word Document, One drive, record keeping
• Ability to send and respond to emails in a timely manner
• Willingness to be taught and trained in the Moving Industry
