Position Overview:
As the Director of Electrical Engineering, you will be a key member of our leadership team, overseeing the Electrical Engineering Department’s strategic direction, with a primary focus on fostering a culture of innovation, mentorship, and continuous employee growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical engineering, coupled with exceptional people leadership and management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Planning:
- Develop and communicate a compelling vision for the electrical engineering department, aligning with the overall company goals.
- Provide strategic direction to the team, ensuring alignment with industry trends and technological advancements.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity and innovation.
Team Management:
- Determine alignment of people and resource allocation to aid in delivery of complex MEP and AEC projects.
- Facilitate and foster collaboration with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to achieve seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement effective monitoring and management of the design backlog to ensure timely project execution.
- Develop and execute resource planning strategies to appropriately staff projects, optimizing team efficiency and project delivery timelines
Team Development:
- Lead and inspire a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Drive performance management initiatives, setting clear expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, and identifying opportunities for skill development.
- Promote a positive work environment that values diversity and inclusion.
Technical Expertise:
- Bring a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices to guide the team in delivering innovative and efficient solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to enhance the department's capabilities.
Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their electrical engineering needs and provide expertise in developing tailored solutions.
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and project delivery.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Salary : $125,000 - $160,000
