The Head of Mining-Material Sciences will be responsible for the overall operations while achieving company objectives.
About the Role :
Lead key operational and technical initiatives that drive long-term growth and profitability for the company, responsible for the overall strategic growth of the company. Ensure the business meets expected financial returns. Lead and develop talent of direct report team and within entire organization. Develop yearly strategy and budget and monitor performance against expectations. Define strategy and lead execution of above market profitable sales growth.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA highly preferred
- 10 years senior mining-rare earths experience leading an organization with background in Mining, Materials Science, Rare Earth, or similar background.
- Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of driving change
- Background in at least leading a ~$100M business and growing it
- Experience developing and high performance teams
- Strong leadership skills while maintaining a team atmosphere and create employee centric environment
