Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.Position SummaryAssist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Participates in the assessment of patients. Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating / revising the plan of care. Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development. Develops leadership role within the LPN scope of practice. Participates in Service Excellence Program.Minimum RequirementsLPN DiplomaActive NC LPN License or compact stateAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationOther InformationFull-time day shift, 36 hours per week, Day shift; 4 weekend shift per six week schedule
