Job DescriptionECU HealthAbout ECU Health PhysiciansECU Health Physicians is multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina.Position SummaryThe Certified Nursing Assistant II performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Functions within the framework of the NAII listing granted by the NC Board of Nursing. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services. In addition, the Nursing Assistant may be utilized in the Observer Role responsible for monitoring one or more assigned patients on a designated unit for a specified time period.Minimum RequirementsHigh School or GED is preferred - or higherDe-escalation training (Non-violent crisis intervention or other de-escalation program adopted by ECU Health). If not current at the time of hire must complete within 90 days of employment and maintain without lapse during employment.Active NAI listing with NC Department of Health & Human Services is required.Active NAII listing with North Carolina Board of Nursing is required.Current American Heart Association HeartSaver or higher certification is required.Preferred Requirements
- 1 year NAII experience in acute hospital
- 1 year NAII experience in skilled care / nursing home
