Job Description
As a Pharmacy Specialist Technician, you will work closely with our pharmacy team to prepare sterile products, manage inventory, and provide support to our pharmacists. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile products in accordance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of dispensing activities and inventory management
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
- 2 years of related experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Registration with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
- Certification through National Pharmacy Technician Association - CPhT
- Additional job-specific competencies required
