Portfolio Operations Analyst

The Portfolio Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the Investment Operations team and functions, which includes, but is not limited to, managing brokerage & custodial relations, post-trade matching & settlements, daily position reconciliations, margin/collateral management, corporate actions monitoring & electing, and portfolio reporting, across wide range of asset classes and strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily trade executions, matching, settlement, and reconciliations
• Manage daily margin calls and instruct the associated collateral movements as needed
• Monitor for upcoming corporate actions and make necessary elections as needed
• Assist with maintaining existing brokerage and custodial relationships as well as assist with any new onboardings
• Help maintain and build technology to support investment trading and portfolio management
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure timely/effective delivery of regular portfolio reporting materials

Qualifications: 

• Must be analytical, detail-oriented, and precise with numbers
• Possess a solid understanding of the securities/fund industry investment concepts and strategies
• 2 years investment operations experience across multiple asset classes and investment vehicles is required
• Experience with derivatives (futures, options, swaps, etc.) is preferred, but not required
• Experience with Bloomberg AIM OMS is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of Python is preferred, but not required 
• M.B.A./Bachelor’s degree in finance (or related major) is required
