Vident Asset Management, LLC is seeking an experienced SMA Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing separately managed accounts, with a focus on investment performance and superior client service. This role involves overseeing the management of client portfolios, implementing investment strategies, and collaborating with various teams to ensure optimal portfolio performance.

What you’ll do:
- Portfolio Management: Manage and oversee SMA portfolios, including equity, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies. Ensure portfolios are aligned with clients' investment objectives and risk tolerance.
- Investment Strategy: Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough research and analysis to support investment decisions.
- Client Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on portfolio performance and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Participate in client meetings and reviews.
- Trading and Execution: Execute trades efficiently and in compliance with best execution practices. Monitor market conditions and adjust portfolios as necessary.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor portfolio performance and risk metrics. Prepare detailed performance reports and conduct performance attribution analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with research analysts, traders, and other portfolio managers to share insights and develop cohesive investment strategies. Collaborate with the client service team to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Compliance: Ensure all investment activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all managed accounts.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of junior portfolio managers and analysts. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Provide guidance and support to team members in their professional development.

What you have:
- Strong understanding of equity and fixed income markets, as well as multi-asset strategies.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to conduct detailed investment analysis.
- Proven track record of delivering strong investment performance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in portfolio management software and trading platforms.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation preferred
