Role Description
This is an internship role as a Journalist Intern at Video Vegas Productions. This role is a hybrid position, located in Las Vegas, NV with the flexibility to work from home. The Journalist Intern will be responsible for writing press releases, news articles, conducting research, establishing and creating content, performing interviews, audio and video recording of this content and broadcasting/streaming the content.
This is an unpaid internship
Qualifications
- Press Releases and News Writing skills
- Interviewing
- Writing and Research skills
- Broadcasting/streaming experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of journalism ethics and practices
- Experience with video production is a plus
- Currently enrolled in a Journalism, Communications, or related program at a college or university
- Interested in creating work experience and building a work portfolio
