Great direct hire opportunity for a Project Coordinator in our Construction department, in Garden Grove, CA.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-person, hourly position, with a Monday through Friday schedule. The project coordinator supports the project manager in various construction jobs, seeing jobs through from beginning to end, along with some administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate would have the ability to work with minimal supervision as well as being a successful team collaborator, have strong organizational skills, strong communication skills, and proficient using Microsoft Office. experience in the telecommunications and construction industry is a plus. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.
Job Description :
- Assist with daily tasks from the start of a construction job and follow through to the close out the construction job.
- Serve as the “point of contact” and liaison between clients and cities / jurisdictions.
- Daily communication via phone and email to our client, cities, and with other team members, supervisors and managers.
- Coordinate construction job calendar and construction crew calendar.
- Sending out / requesting certificate of insurance documents, permits, as built, submittals and invoicing.
- Track project status and provide follow-up to pending issues to assure completion of project – internal and external.
- Organize and move projects throughout different phases of completion.
- Work internally with the team to ensure client / project needs are met.
- Research / gather data for reporting purposes.
- Place material order requests, track and report material purchases to AP department.
- Invoicing of projects.
- Complete any necessary paperwork, reporting, etc. required for assigned projects.
- Other administrative / clerical duties as assigned for the construction department.

Pay (based on experience and skills) : $20.00 / hour - $24.00 / hour
Work Location : In-person at our corporate office in Garden Grove, CA.
Job Type : Full-time, in-person (no remote work)
