Who We Are: Videojet Technologies is a global leader in product identification providing innovative coding and marking solutions that help customers ensure product safety and improve their productivity Within your role as a Global Service DBSL, you will: Have a direct impact on the success of Videojet with respect to both top and bottom-line growth by facilitating the successful implementation and sustainability of DBS. This person will drive continuous improvement of the global service teams through cross-functional collaboration with the support, teaching and training of DBS tools. By owning prioritization, pre-work and execution of PSP & kaizen events, this leader has significant visibility and is a key partner to Senior Leaders, Country & Regional managers. The Global Service DBSL shapes strategy, focuses execution and creates value for customers and shareholders alike. Your responsibilities as Danaher Business Systems Leader include: · Drive targeted improvement across Global Service. · Promote diagnosis of work flow impediments and provide expert counsel on appropriate DBS tools for gaps on performance and coach as needed. · Actively assist leadership in the development of a continuous improvement plans. · Ensure successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process, including planning of kaizens with a dynamic funnel process tied to PD and DM, kaizen execution and sustainment of kaizens. · Accommodate the deployment & evolution of VJ Global Functional Playbooks, kaizen initiatives and DBS tools. · Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching across Global Service. · Own process & coach associates to achieve DBS Certified Practitioner (CP) status for Global Service. · Benchmark and incorporate practices from other Danaher sites. We are looking for a professional who exhibits: · Teamwork - must be able to lead a team(s) of Videojet Associates from multiple disciplines · Ability to influence others - must be able to inform, convince, and persuade others to action on key initiatives at all levels in the organization (up and down) · Results orientation - must deliver sustainable results · Independent, self-starter – able to set agenda and drive progress with little direction · Analytical Skills - to ensure credibility as a partner with the business exceptional data analytic skills are necessary · Effective communicator with strong group facilitation skills to drive outcomes; must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms · Followership & Leadership – must understand how to leverage both to drive sustainable change; must always be mindful of driving associate engagement at all levels in the organization. · Innovation – willing to go to gemba to listen to customers, associates and others and trystorm new ideas to reduce muda and improve processes · Need to be positive and high energy and able to handle difficult situations. Your Education and/or Background Experience will have: · BS or BA Degree in Business or Engineering required; Master’s Degree preferred; · English being mandatory and other languages would be an advantage; · Analytical mind with Hands-on mentality; · Proactive demeanor; · Strong networker · Experience with facilitation and/or DBS would be an advantage.
