Our ideal Buyer Planner will

Be responsible for identifying and maintaining the appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans.

Perform material requirements planning through high interaction/coordination with manufacturing personnel and external suppliers’ extension, inventory reduction, lead time reduction, Consignment and 3PL.

Driving forward our Lean Conversion by implementing consignment, Kanban, just-in-time, postponement, and other materials strategies to reduce inventory while growing delivery.

Provide materials support by coordinating and scheduling material purchase orders based on Kanban requirements and evaluation of reports.

Optimally manage material requirement changes resulting from Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs), product End of Life (EOL) or Support (EOS).

Interact with sourcing team (Global Procurement) to ensure standard methodologies and greatest use in procurement, low-cost region sourcing, supplier assessment and management.

Owning Daily Management process by taking full ownership of exceeding delivery and inventory targets.

Provide support to the manufacturing line by resolving all material issues in a timely manner and collaborating with materials group, customer service, quality, and suppliers to ensure all customer needs are met or exceeded.

Improve supplier fill rates, quality, lead times to fit product mix and needs while supervising and tracking supplier’s delivery performance. Drive supply base consolidation.

Identify and countermeasure root cause of issue using problem solving process.

Build, implement, and sustain replenishment plan for each part.

  • Must have well developed executive presence; ability to lead and run project teams with a range of experience and skills and engage at the highest executive level in Veralto.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in commodity leadership, purchasing and/or project management, Manufacturing Engineer or Design Project Engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree / foreign equivalent degree in Supply Chain or related field.
  • Shown succes in Working Capital (inventory, terms) and Lead time initiatives.
  • Skills such as PFEP, Kanban, Root cause analysis etc, preferred.
  • Broad Supply Chain and data analytics.
  • Previous experience leading sourcing workshops and/or Kaizen events.
  • Previous leadership and facilitation experience.
  • International experience desirable.
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
