JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for building strong relationships and selling the technicians' time. Our service advisors greet customers, visually inspect their vehicles by walk-around inspection, write up the vehicle for service and consult the customer on their service needs. Service advisors sell and upsell services, answer service related calls and respond to inquiries.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service
- Prioritize required services and recommend options
- Keep customers apprised of progress, setbacks and updated completion times
- Maintain knowledge of products and services in order to accurately and correctly answer customer inquiries.
The ideal candidate will be expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism and quality in accordance with dealership policy. Must possess a strong work ethic, the ability to stay on task and work independently. Must pay close attention to detail and be able to produce high quality work quickly yet efficiently. As a service advisor, you will be expected to keep up with the latest customer service practices, be willing to go the extra mile for customers and solve any and all problems that arise.
