This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with some weekends required.
Responsibilities for the Landscape Design & Build Crew Leader include:
- Lead and supervise a landscape crew, ensuring the highest quality of work and adherence to project timelines;
- Construction of patios, steps, fire pits, and decorative/retaining walls using various stone types;
- Planting and layout of trees, perennials, and shrubs, ensuring correct planting techniques;
- Perform excavation, rough and fine grading, and manage sod removal and landscape bed creation;
- Oversee the delivery and spreading of stone, soil, gravel, sand, and mulch;
- Manage the installation of sod, hydroseeding, and water features;
- Communicate daily project details and progress with the project manager;
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Requirements for the Landscape Design & Build Crew Leader include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
- 3 years of landscaping experience required;
- Chauffeur's License required;
- Some experience reading and interpret blueprints required;
- Strong understanding of planting techniques and landscape construction required;
- Reliable transportation required;
- Valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle report.
