Vie Villas is seeking a responsible, dependable, and detail-oriented Temporary Summer Maintenance & Cleaning Assistant to join our team for the summer season. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the property, while supporting both the maintenance and office teams with daily operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in property management and light maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform light maintenance and physical tasks (lifting, standing, bending, etc.)
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Must have reliable transportation and a working phone
- Availability to work weekends and evenings, if needed
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in janitorial, cleaning, hospitality, or property maintenance is a plus but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Vie Fit fitness center, common areas, offices, kitchen, clubhouse, model units, and other shared spaces.
- Assist with trash pickup and proper disposal across the property, including grounds and common areas.
- Support the team in unit turnovers, including cleaning and preparing vacant units for new residents.
- Assist with resident events and community functions, as needed.
- Ensure brand standards are upheld, including ambiance (e.g., music playing, TVs on, scents distributed in lobby/model units).
- Report and assist with resolving maintenance concerns, such as burnt-out lights or unusual property conditions.
- Ensure all maintenance tools/supplies are stored safely to prevent hazards.
- Enter occupied units for scheduled cleaning, as requested, maintaining professional and respectful conduct at all times.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings and trainings.
- Support the maintenance team in emergency response, as needed.
