What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Relations Specialist (Part time) position at VieMed?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls relating to our Referral line
- Knowledge of current patient database and billing system
- Solid understanding of the products and services offered by the company to assist callers
- Assist with collecting data for referral sources
- Direct referral sources to the appropriate sales contact
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Hands on experience with CRMS softward and MS Office
- Excellent organizational skills and multi tasking
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening skills
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Outstanding customer service skills and dedication to providing exceptional customer service
- Skilled in time management when working independently or as part of a team while ensuring deadlines
are met - Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills to effectively problem solve and present solutions
- Understands and adheres to confidentiality requirements in relation to patient nformation
You will be expected to work during normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.
