About this role :
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall Quality support for the North America Carrier Performance Parts Group, with a focus on supplier and process performance improvement. You will partner with supply chain, engineering, and service functions to ensure conformance of product offerings. This role is responsible to ensure flawless new product launch and will ensure timely project completion in support of the Carrier Performance Parts Group.
Key Responsibilities :
- Actively monitors and takes action to maintain key Quality metrics to Aftermarket targets : PPM, COPQ, Vendor Recovery.
- Daily support for defect resolution and the management of non-conforming material. Utilizing standard CAPA and RCA processes.
- Support Supplier qualification including auditing and testing needs.
- 8Ds, APQP activities including PPAP, working to reduce / eliminate warranty issues from suppliers.
- Responsible for monthly reporting duties.
- Observe and implement supplier and process improvements.
- Participate in Product launch programs and ensure proper level of APQP to support launch timing and Quality targets.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
