About this role
As a Software Engineer for Automated Logic Corporation, you will report directly to the Software Engineering Supervisor and be responsible for developing equipment level software, system database infrastructures, bacnet numbering schemes, and ensuring software programs adhere to sequences of operation as defined through hardware engineering. The finished product will be used by our graphics department to construct the GUI and eventually utilized by operations for construction.
The individual should understand hardware components such as controllers, sensors, relays, and actuators while also having a base understanding of software concepts such as PID loops, input / output configurations, and base software design concepts. This is an individual contributor role that will be responsible for communicating effectively with fellow employees within the engineering department and occasionally with other divisions within the ALC Branch.
This position could lead to further career opportunities such as a Senior Software Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Field Engineer, or Systems Specialist role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Software Engineering
Program entire BAS system and develop equipment database infrastructure
Adherence to project requirements, company standards, and customer standards in all aspects of design, programming, and implementation.
Ensure engineering processes are followed, and make suggestions for enhancement
Ensure all Automated Logic organizational safety and ethics standards are met.
